The MBA offered by Apsley Business School is designed for professionals hoping to integrate the latest scholarship and theory with the practical day-to-day aspects of their business. The programme of study is flexible, with a strict focus on the quality of your assessed work, rather than volume. As such, it is ideal for the motivated high achiever, who is balancing their work, study and family commitments. The programme can be completed in 9 months on average, depending on your personalised study plan.

€6800 / £6000

Whole programme: The whole MBA is accredited at 90 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System Credits), which is equivalent to 180 credits at the postgraduate level in the British system. Most students will complete the whole programme in 6 to 19 months. The delivery is either classroom-based, blended or online.

Each unit: Each unit consists of Case Studies, videos, reading, and independent research. You will complete a written assignment for each unit which will be assessed. This is normally around 5000 words. Your Research Dissertation will be no more than 40,000 word.

ABS’ MBA programmes are aimed at professionals who wish to increase their skill and knowledge portfolios, and to help them achieve their career goals. On graduation you will be expected to be in a position to influence and manage people, set out a strategic direction, and make appropriate use of a range of financial, marketing, human and technological resources.

Dr. Sebastian Fuller, the Academic Director, explains. Strategic Management is about being able to steer your organisation at a senior level, being able to put your vision and strategy at the heart of everything your organisation does. Typically you will be ambitious and motivated leader, aspiring to develop your skills for progression to senior management, and membership of the board, either at your current organisation or even in a different sector. Alternatively, you may be looking to establish your own firm, delivering value as an entrepreneur or senior consultant. Either way, the knowledge and skills consolidated by the MBA will enhance your professional standing, and your personal brand

Many organisations now have to take a more formal approach to governance as there are many laws and regulations that require organisations to behave and govern themselves in certain ways and provide information on these processes and decisions in the name of transparency to various audiences and stakeholders. Good governance is growingly seen not just as core administrative function, but as a marketing opportunity and a way to increase efficiencies, as organisations compete in a global marketplace for clients.
