Welcome to the Master of Laws degree (LLM) at Apsley Business School, London.
LLM is derived from the Latin Legum Magister, meaning Master of Laws, and is primarily a vocational degree taught at a high academic standard. It is ideal for practising lawyers hoping to develop specific theoretical areas of their practice or for entrepreneurs and administrators who need law in their daily business.
Our LLM is accredited by a consortium of universities across Europe, including the University Institute for International and European studies, the Warsaw Management University, and the World Jurist Association (WJA) in Washington, USA.
The programme is accredited at 120 ECTS credits, or 240 CATS credits, and consists of five taught seminars and a research project of 40,000 words.
The programme is taught in English, Slovak and German, through classroom, online and blended delivery, in the UK and Central and Eastern Europe.
You can specialise in five key areas:-
Commercial Law: Finance, Contract, Trade, Labour, Corporate Law.
International Law: Common Law, EU law, International Relations,
Human Rights Law: Law, and International Relations, Business Ethics

N.B. You may opt to take a seminar from the Masters of Business Administration too.
